The 113th annual meeting of the American Sociological Association will take place from August 11th-14th, 2017, in Philadelphia, PA, USA. The section on Ethnomethodology and Conversation Analysis will present several sessions. See our call for papers here.
The VALS-ASLA 2018 conference will be held at the University of Basel on the theme A VIDEO TURN IN LINGUISTICS? from 06-08/06/2018. Scholars are invited to submit a paper contributing to one of the following topical sections:
a) On multimodal analysis through the use of video recordings
b) On methodological issues concerning the use of video data
c) On the applied issues concerning the use of videos for communicating with the public
Contributions can be submitted in English, French, German and Italian.
Abstracts should not exceed 300 words.
Submission deadline is 01/12/2017.

CLIC GSA 2018
Graduate and undergraduate students are invited to submit papers to present at the 24th annual Conference on Language, Interaction, and Culture. The conference will take place at the University of California, Los Angeles from April 5-7, 2018. Read more about the call here.
